Today I propose something less exotic but no less interesting: a guided tour through the King Castle , lavish homes of suburban King of France and their courtiers. While you ride
immense landscapes and sweet, we reach the real Queen of France Paris, la Ville Lumière.
This is a wonderful eight-day bus tour that touches on some of the most beautiful in France.
Day 1: Milan - 515 km Macon
Morning departure from the chosen location. Meeting with the tour in Milan and the beginning of the tour coaches. Stop for lunch along the route. Continue in France through the Frejus tunnel. Arrival in Macon, Saone-et-important river port on the wine center. Hotel accommodation in private rooms. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Macon - Fontainebleau - Paris 401 km
Breakfast at hotel. Leaving for Paris with a stop for lunch or Fonatinebleu Barbizon. In the afternoon, visit with an audio guide at the Castle of Fontainebleau. Arrive late afternoon in the French capital. Accommodation in hotels, private rooms. Dinner and overnight.
After dinner an optional excursion by coach to see the "City of Lights" and to make a boat trip on the River Seine on board "Bateaux Mouches".
Day 3: Paris
Breakfast at hotel. Full day guided tour of the city: the exterior of the Louvre, the Ile de la Cité, Notre Dame, the Latin Quarter, the Sorbonne, the Quartier Saint Germain de Prés. Free lunch. In the afternoon guided tour of the Opera, Place Vendome, Place de la Concorde, the outside of Les Invalides, the Eiffel Tower, the Avenue des Champs Elysees, the Arc de Triomphe. Return to the hotel, free dinner. Optional: a walk in Montmartre, a meeting place artists and bohemians, to dine in a typical neighborhood restaurant. Overnight.
Day 4: Paris
Breakfast at hotel. In the morning guided tour of the Louvre, one of the most famous museums in the world which contains, among others, the masterpiece of Leonrado da Vinci: the Mona Lisa. Lunch and afternoon free. Optional: slaita the Eiffel Tower to see Paris from an unusual perspective and fascinating. Return to the hotel in the evening. Dinner included. After dinner, optional performance at the Moulin Rouge, for more than a century landmark of Parisian nightlife. Overnight.
Day 5: Paris - Chartres - Villandry - Tours
307 km Breakfast in the hotel. Drive to the Loire Valley. Stop for a guided tour of the cathedral of Chartres, with its stained glass windows depicting 5000 characters. Free lunch. In the early afternoon departure for Tours. Stop for a visit with the tour to the Renaissance gardens of Villandry castle grounds rocailles, arranged in three terraces. Arrival in Tours in the evening, hotel accommodation in the reserved rooms, dinner. Optional: Sound and Light show at one of the castles that will be indicated by companions. When you do not make the trip will be replaced by a night walk in Tours. Overnight
Day 6: Tours - Amboise - Blois - Chambord - Tours
165 km Breakfast in the hotel. Full day tour to some of the most representative castles of the Loire Valley. Amboise, the cradle of the Renaissance, Leonardo da Vinci where he stayed. It continues with the Castle of Chambord, Unesco, with its own set of roofs, chimneys and steeples. At Blois, a city of art and history, is scheduled to visit the castle, witness the great events of the French monarchy. Free lunch in the course of the visit. Return to Tours. Day 7: Tours - Chenonceaux - Lyon 500 km
Breakfast at hotel. In the morning visit, with the tour, Castle of Chenonceaux, theater, in the past, real great party. Lunch in restaurant and in the afternoon, drive to Lyon. Arrival in the evening, hotel accommodation in private rooms. Dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Lyon - 444 km Italy
Breakfast at hotel. In the morning visit with accompgantore overview of the main monumentidel Old Lyon: the old town, Place Bellecour, the bridge Bonaparte, Cathedral Hill Fourviere. Depart for Italy. Free lunch during the trip.
